Serra de Kanda's peasants receive agricultural inputs

Mbanza Kongo - peasants of Serra de Kanda commune, Cuimba municipality, northern province of Zaire, benefited last Thursday from agricultural inputs such as hoe, machetes and axels.

The delivery was made by the provincial governor, Pedro Makita Julia, during his three-day visit to that mountainous locality, 45 kilometers south of Municipali headquarters Cuimba. 
The governor said he hoped that these agricultural means would help to increase the production of local peasant families, who face enormous difficulties in acquiring agricultural tools.
