The information was provided today, Tuesday, by the chairperson of the Huíla Agricultural, Commercial and Industrial Association (AAPCIL), Paulo Gaspar, who said that 72% of the production made available was sold.
According to the official, during the event, the exhibitors also signed contracts with customers, worth 560 million kwanzas.
"The fair served for exhibitors to sell the products from the countryside directly to consumers and companies that received financing from the economic relief programme. Producers are encouraged to produce more because they know they already have the next production sold, that is why the balance is positive," he said.
He said that AgriHuíla had filled 140 stands, with 240 exhibitors from the province's 14 municipalities, who presented the region's potential in order to attract the market for sales and consumption.
