Government reiterates support to higher education institutions

Kuito - The provincial government of Bié reiterated, Friday, in Kuito, its support to the public institutions of higher education, so that they can better fulfill their role of training staff able to contribute to the social and economic development of the region and the country in general.

Carlos Ulombe Esperança da Silva, vice -governor for social and political area


The intention was expressed, Friday, in the city of Cuito, by the deputy governor for political and social area of the province of Bie, Carlos Ulombe da Silva, during the inauguration ceremony of the deans and vice deans of units of the 5th academic region assigned to the José Eduardo dos Santos University.

Ulombe Carlos da Silva said that the support of Bie provincial government will be based on several actions to ensure qualification of staff in the coming years, so the they contribute with their knowledge to country’s growth and development.

He admitted they have promoted over the last few years a number of actions, most notably the expansion and equipping of the Higher Pedagogical and Polytechnic Schools of Bie.
