University students outline strategies for improving education

Namibe - At least one hundred and eighty students of the various courses in the higher pedagogical school of Namibe devised Friday, here, the strategic plan for improving teaching and learning at the end of the third student scientific events, which took place on 09-10 June.

It is part of the strategies plan, discussed in 64 papers presented, "the creation of special teaching and science teaching methodology", "interaction between the school and society in training citizen", "environmental education and school health" " updating of teaching and learning process", "experimental activities as a teaching resource in the teaching practice," resorting to the use of laboratories.

In closing the ceremony, the principal of Mandume Ya Ndemufayo University, Sebastiao Joao stressed that the experiences accumulated in the field of scientific and technological research play an important role in the development of quality higher education in the country.

Sebastião Joao also stressed that scientific research has as its mission to encourage professionals in economic and social development of nations through their contribution to the scientific and technological creation process.
