Huíla: ISPI discusses education role in economic diversification

Lubango - The 3rd scientific-pedagogical events of the Higher Independente Polytechnic Institute (ISPI) starting Wednesday in Lubango, southern Huila province, are set to discuss the role of education in economic diversification.

The fact was disclose Tuesday to Angop by the head of the Department of Educational Sciences of ISPI, Antunes Pinto.

According to the source, the participants will also discuss topics such as "The Portuguese language in Angola: academic integration factor and socio-professional ", and" the importance of profession and training of teachers for quality teaching and learning: the economic value of teaching".

Other issues such as "The performance of students in Portuguese language in higher pedagogical school of Bengo", "Social networks and the process of teaching and learning" and "Challenges for teachers with the global changes", will also be analysed at the meeting.

With 3,800 students, ISPI is a private higher education institution that runs 12 courses.

The Education institution was created on August 5, 2010.
