Scientific events contribute to spread knowledge
Luanda - The scientific events are an "excellent" opportunity to present results of academic research and dissemination of knowledge, said Monday in Luanda, the Minister of Science and Technology, Maria Cândida Teixeira.

The minister stressed that while speaking at the opening ceremony of the scientific sessions of the Private University of Angola (UPRA), which runs until 24th May, under the motto "Higher education and development."
She said that the conferences are important constitutional premises to ensure the right of access to information and knowledge, as well as the mechanism to implement good practices.
About UPRA conference, the minister predicts that the meeting will produce interesting results and contribute to the creation and broadening of knowledge horizons, in order to add value to the quality of education in the country.
"The adoption of new attitudes and development of new models are processes closely related to what is done, both in terms of teaching and scientific research," She said.
The official called on students to redouble their efforts to achieve good results during their training, as the future of scientific research education and the country is in the young's hands.
