Education minister calls for special attention to teachers
Luanda - Angolan minister of Education Cândida Teixeira Wednesday in Luanda called for special attention to the teaching staff, described as the most important entity in any country.

This was at the meeting with governor of Luanda province, Adriano Mendes de Carvalho, and district administrators.
Cândida Teixeira regretted the unpleasant situation existing among the teachers which, according to her, undermine the class.
However, she spoke of the need for the municipal authorities to take some measures to change the situation that impoverish and devalue the class, tarnishing the task with corruption phenomenon, called "Gasosa".
According to her, such a phenomenon target mainly the most disadvantaged, the low income people, who intend to enroll and have their children in school.
"We are coming to the end of the school year and we are getting ready to start a new one. We must be aware of the change that must be made to avoid such situations," she advised.
After having recommended the administrators and all education agents to pay more attention to the sector in order to develop Angola, the official recommended the implementation of extracurricular activities, including the school sports.
