Higher Education minister defends evaluation of teachers' performance
Uíge - Angolan minister of Higher Education Science, Technology and Innovation Maria Rosário Sambo spoke of evaluation of performance of teachers and students for quality education in the country.

Maria Sambo was speaking at a meeting with leaders, teachers and workers from Kimpa Vita University in northern Uíge province on Thursday.
She said that the exercise will cover all universities, in order to achieve quality education in the country.
The minister stressed that evaluation process will consists of presentation of general criteria that will be discussed in the coming times.
Expressing concern about the new status of career of the teaching staff, the minister pledged to recover the existing mistakes in the system with a view to improving the quality of teaching.
Maria do Rosário Sambo’s visit also served to assess the functioning of universities in the country.
The higher education sector will continue making effort to tackle some grievances, she assured.
Kimpa Vita university has 185 professors, 8.817 students enrolled for 2018.
