Education Ministry to create adult learning spaces all over Angola
Luanda - The Education Ministry (MED) through the National Adults Education Directorate will set up all over the country, specific classrooms for adults teaching inside the Secondary Education system.

The information was given on Tuesday to Angop by the national director of Adult Education, Evaristo Pedro, as part of the celebration of the Adult Education and Literacy International Week being marked from September 1st to 8th.
According to the official, the institution is currently working with every municipality of the country with a view to creating at least one classroom for adults to attend classes at 6th, 7th and 8th grade.
The measure, he added, is aimed at creating opportunities for adults, who attended literacy classes to carry on with their studies.
“The great challenge of the National Adult Education Directorate, besides combating illiteracy, is to create technical, human and material conditions for the implementation of adult teaching inside secondary education nationwide”, stressed the official.
