The official expressed the concern Sunday at the end of a visit to the institution, as part of the visit by the Angola's Vice President, Bornito de Sousa, to Bié province.
She said the expansion or construction of a new facility will attract more students and improve the teaching quality to meet the future demands.
The visit allowed us to learn that degradation level of the infrastructure is not so serious if compared to the others in some provinces. But it is necessary to increase more classrooms to accommodate more students," said Cândida Teixeira.
The school was created on September 28, 1979.
Currently 1,845 students are attending courses in the specialties of general nursing, clinical analysis, pharmacy and radiology.
