MED seeks contributions for National Exam handbook
Caxito - The Ministry of Education gathered on Tuesday in Caxito, Bengo province, contributions to enrich the proposal of the manual on national examinations.

The document is structured in five chapters and addresses questions about enrollment, procedures for drawing up and conducting national examinations, as well as the responsibilities of the participants, the classification of national examination exams, material and conditions of access to the classroom.
Speaking to the press, the National Director of Evaluation and Accreditation of the Ministry of Education, António da Costa, explained that the handbook is a guideline that aims to evaluate the national education system, disseminate information on national examinations of the terminal classes of primary and secondary education.
He clarified that the national exams will allow to certify and evaluate the quality of teaching, the competences of the teachers and the levels of knowledge acquired by the students.
He noted that the national exams would replace the exams produced by the Provincial Education Offices, and these bodies would be responsible for submitting the proposals to the National Examinations Committee for the final exams, which would cover all schools in the country.
