Higher Education seeks financial resource optimization

Luanda - The optimization of financial resources and the definition of a legal framework that enables greater State engagement in the financing of higher education were discussed on Thursday, in Luanda, in the 2nd Advisory Council of the Ministry of Higher Education, Science, Technology and Innovation (MESCTI).

In addition to the two points, it was defended greater articulation and information sharing among the actors in the process of financing higher education in Angola, in a meeting that also proposed models more adapted to the national reality for its funding scheme.

While opening the event, the Minister of Higher Education, Science, Technology and Innovation, Maria Sambo, described the goals, stating that she wants from the participants ideas for improving the conception of policies and the implementation of strategies in higher education.

One criticism of the subsystem was the lack of dialogue platforms between MESCTI and the Academy.
