Government reiterates back-to-school from October
Luanda - Angolan government has reiterate resuming classes in various education sub-system of the country from October this year.

The return to school was stressed Tuesday by State Secretary for Pre-School and Primary Education, Pacheco Francisco, at the end of his visit to the municipalities of Icolo e Bengo and Quissama.
Classes have been suspended on March this year amid Covid-19 pandemic.
Under back-to-school calendar, classes start on the 5th October, initially covering universities and transition grades of the 1st and 2nd cycle of secondary education that include 6th, 9th, 12th, and 13th Grades.
On 19 October for 7th and 8th, 10th and 11th grade, still in the 2nd cycle of secondary education.
Classes in primary and 1st cycle start on 26 October.
On alternate days, students who do not go to school will attend classes at a distance, via television and radio, and do their homework.
During a meeting with education staff in the Bela Vista district, Bom Jesus commune, the official encouraged teachers to follow the example of the health staff who are at the forefront in the fight against the coronavirus.
