Along with this situation, the government official said that each higher education institution, within the framework of its autonomy and according to its conditions and capacities, was creating the best conditions for classes to resume on 5 October, in a safe way, without increasing the risk of contagion by the Covid-19.
"Conditions are being created since classes have been suspended. But we have to be realistic, there is no capacity to have full conditions according to all the requirements", she reaffirmed.
According to the minister, who was speaking at the inauguration of the new premises of the Faculty of Economics at Mandume Ya Ndemufayo University, work is being done to readjust the school calendar and in due course they will publish the results so that the institutions can plan their activities.
The changes in the timetable, she said, do not prevent the institutions from having their conditions prepared for the resumption of classes, with all the recommended biosecurity measures.
The country currently has 8 public universities, 7 public institutes of higher education and 57 private and public-private institutions.
