Culture library inaugurated in Menongue

Menongue – The Angolan Minister of Energy, Emanuela Vieira Lopes, Thursday in Menongue city, inaugurated the library of culture department in Kuando Kubango province, an enterprise which comprises one internet room, having seven computers connected to internet and one reading room, with a capacity for 20 people per day.
The construction of the library, which represents a reference for young students and all interested, lasted three months, and was carried out by the contractor “JOAFEL”, estimated at USD 95,000, through Social aid fund (FAS).
Speaking to the press, after the act held in light to the celebrations of the 67th anniversary of Angolan Head of State, José Eduardo dos Santos, marked on Friday, the governor of southern- east Kuando Kubango province, Eusébio de Brito Teixeira, stated that implementation of the project, represents a benefit for the students, due the to researches they need to carry out.
The governor indicated yet that besides the connected computers, there is still the possibility of using two internet lines, for those owning laptops, adding that the library counts on upgraded staff to use digital or manual literature, an activity which during a first phase will be in promotion.
