Bengo: Importance of festival “VARIANTE” highlighted

Caxito - The secretary of State for Cultural and Creative Industries, João Constantino, Saturday in Caxito city highlighted the importance of the holding of the music festival “Variante 2017” to find new talents.

Speaking at the end of the event, which counted on the participation of 17 contenders of the whole country, the official said the festival has gained the name and brand nationwide.

However, he regretted the lack of support from businesspeople for Government initiatives, since these events should be promoted in the private sector counting on government’s support.

In his turn, the deputy governor for northern Bengo province for Political and Social Affairs,  António Martins, praised the organised way the event  took place with a lot of cultural value and vitality.
