Angolan musician Zé du Pau dies
Luanda - The Angolan singer Zé du Pau died Friday morning, December 29 at the General Hospital of Luanda, victim of disease.

According to Paulo Ferrão, the musician's son who was addressing Angop, Zé du Pau was hospitalized due to complications that arose after a surgery.
The singer who performed great hits in the 80's and early 90's had undergone surgery in 2013 due to a throat tumor in South Africa.
Paulo Ferrão stressed that at the moment they are dealing with bureaucratic issues and as soon as they are resolved the date of the funeral will be announced.
José Farto Marques Airosa Ferrão, well known by Zé du Pau, is the author of the musical hits " Paginas Rasgadas do Livro da Minha Vida".
The beginning of his the career
Zé du Pau began his career in 1970 as a solo guitarist for the musical band "Os Corvos", who was one of the founders, with Gildo Costa (lead vocalist and composer), Zeca Pilhas Secas (bass guitar and rhythm), José dos Santos (vocals), Didino (drums) and Novato (vocals and dikanza).
