Angola: Writers Association announces death of Antero de Abreu
Luanda - Angolan Writers Association (UEA) announced Wednesday in Luanda the death of its founding member Antero Alberto Ervedosa de Abreu, aged 90, occurred in Viana do Castelo, Portugal, victim of disease.

This is contained in a press note sent to Angop on Wednesday, stressing that the deceased writer was born in Luanda on February 22, 1927.
Antero de Abreu completed his primary, secondary and high studies in Luanda, having
left for Portugal to study law, first in Coimbra and later in Lisbon, where he finished the course.
The writer was also the second Attorney General of then People's Republic of Angola and was for several years ambassador to Italy.
The deceased was also founding member of UEA and Academy of Arts and Social Sciences.
