Cabinda: Selection of Mbanza Kongo as world heritage site reason for pride
Cabinda - Angolans must be proud about Mbanza Kongo City (northern Zaire Province) for having recently been elected as a World Heritage Site, said last Monday, in the northern Cabinda Province, the provincial culture secretary, Euclides da Lomba.

Speaking to ANGOP, Euclides da Lomba stressed that Angolans are deeply satisfied at this historical conquest, with the selection of Mbanza Kongo City as a World Cultural Heritage place.
“We need to recognise the commitment of all the technical staffs of the Culture Ministry, who directly gave their knowledge to the pursuing of such conquest, and the same is applied to all the national and international personalities that for many years fought to see this dream become reality and which today, undoubtedly, turns Angola into a world reference”, emphasised the also musician Euclides da Lomba.
