Culture Minister hails international achievements of C4 Pedro and Nsoki
Luanda - The conquest of international prizes by Angolan artists Nsoki and C4 Pedro values and enhances the Angolan culture, in particular music, said on Monday in Luanda the Culture Minister, Carolina Cerqueira.

According to the minister, in a press release sent to Angop in response to the consecration of the two Angolan artists at the Africa Magazine Music Awards (AFRIMMA2017), whose awards gala took place on Sunday in the United States of America, reflect on the effort of the Angolan artists, being still a synonym for the quality of the musical product placed at the disposal of the national and foreign public.
"These awards generally value the Angolan culture, which is a pride for Angolans and represents a commitment to the internationalization of the national cultural product", reads the note.
In addition to congratulating the two artists, the minister encourages them to continue focusing on the production of music with a high degree of quality and on the dissemination and appreciation of the arts and culture of Angola.
Nsoki won in the categories Artist Breakthrough and Best Female Artist in Central Africa, while C4 Pedro won in the categories of Best Lusophone, Best Male Central Africa and Best crossing Boundaries.
The African Muzic Magazine Awards (AFRIMMA) emerged three years ago, with a focus on awarding, enhancing and expanding African music in the diaspora.
