It is intended, according to the minister, to give dignity to the artists who throughout their lives have given everything for the valorization, expansion and dissemination of the Angolan culture and that often, due to several problems, are conditioned or marginalized.

To this end, the ministerial department of culture hopes to have the participation of partners and patrons to help solve the problems that the artistic class faces daily.

Carolina Cerqueira, who was speaking at the New Year greetings ceremony that brought together workers and cultural agents, said that the head of Government, President João Lourenço, shares this concern and there is a commitment to respond to the concerns presented by artists in this area.
