União Mundo da Ilha prepares for carnival parade

Luanda - The winner of the last edition of Luanda?s carnival, União Mundo da Ilha is preparing to regain the title in the next parade to take place on February 13 at capital?s new Boulevard.

Carnaval 2017: Grupo União Mundo da Ilh group, winner of 2017 edition

Angop learnt that in order to achieve this goal, the group has been rehearsing since long time.  

União Mundo da Ilha founded in 1968, has 13 carnival parade titles including the last edition.

The current carnival edition is expected to count on the participation of groups from the provinces of Benguela, Cabinda, Uige, Cuanza Norte and  Huambo.
