Over 20 paintings showcased at Casa de Cultura do Rangel

Luanda - At least 22 paintings by several Angolan artists are on display in Luanda, in the gallery of the Casa de Cultura do Rangel (Njinga a Mbande), in an allusion to February 4, the day of the beginning of the armed struggle of national liberation.

Under the topic “Colors of a Memory", the artists used various painting techniques, with emphasis on acrylic on canvas and mixed techniques, where fictitious messages were transmitted linked to the national liberation struggle that began on February 4, 1961.

The works present several themes as an example; "Bleu Africa", "Re-Control", "The roots of our memory, Pride of being African", "The caravan", "My face", "Mystery of kwanza", "Woman and color" and "The beautiful ladies nyaneka hairstyles ".
