Writer Amélia Dalomba releases new book
Luanda - The Angolan writer Amélia Dalomba last Thursday evening in the Camões Portuguese Cultural Centre, in Luanda, released a new poetry book at a ceremony marked by recital of poems by the author and a mixture of live music and poetry reading.

The new book, entitled “Espigas de Sahel” (lit. ear spikes from Sahel), is an anthology of over 400 poems, which the author wrote in different moments of her life, some of which were already published.
The presentation ceremony of the book was attended by politicians, MPs and diplomats.
Amélia Dalomba, who has released several literary works over the years, was born in the northern Cabinda Province in the year 1961.
She is an environmentalist, writer, poet and plastic artist.
