Biennial of Peace satisfies ECCAS culture ministers
Luanda - The Council of Culture Ministers of the Economic Community of Central African States (ECCAS) was pleased with the holding of the Biennial of Peace in September 2019, in Luanda, in a joint initiative of the UNESCO, African Union and Angolan government.

The announcement has been made by the Angolan Culture minister, Carolina Cerqueira, who has also invited the central African countries and regional organisations to join this great artistic and cultural manifestation, which honours not only Angola, but the whole African continent, through a commitment to peace, friendship and solidarity among the peoples.
The Luanda Biennial aims at involving African countries in a cultural environment that promotes peace, harmony and brotherhood among the peoples through civic and cultural activities integrating elites of Africa and representatives of civil society, religious and traditional authorities, intellectuals, artists and sportspersons.
