Luanda - The Republic of Angola, with a delegation headed by Secretary of State for Culture, Maria da Piedade de Jesus, is present at the X National Culture Festival of Mozambique.

Angola attends Mozambican cultural festival

The opening ceremony of the event, which was chaired by the President of the Republic, Filipe Nyusi, took place at the May 1st stage in the city of Liching, Niassa.

The festival is held under the theme "Culture Promoting Women, Cultural Identity and Sustainable Development.

Speaking to Angop, the Secretary of State stressed that the presence of Angola in the event aims to fulfill the cooperation agreements between the two countries in the field of culture and to follow the historical ties, as well as reaffirming the will to exchange experience on a permanent basis.

She congratulated the Mozambican people in general and the women and men of the arts and culture of Mozambique, in particular, for this great achievement.
