Strengthening of Brazil-Angola relations in cultural area defended
Luanda - The Brazilian ambassador to Angola, Paulino Neto, stressed Tuesday in Luanda the need to intensify relations between Angolans and Brazilians through the cultural industry.

The diplomat made a statement at a press conference to assess the exhibition on theme "The Portuguese language within us", which takes place from June 12 until August 24, at the Cultural Center Brazil-Angola.
According to Paulino Neto, the exhibition is a way of valuing the culture of both countries and the strengthening of ties between the peoples, through the binomial that is the Portuguese language.
The ambassador stressed that the promotion of the Portuguese language and cooperation with Portuguese-speaking nations is one of the main focus of the Brazilian diplomacy.
In turn, the director of the Cultural Center Brazil-Angola, Nidia Klein reported that the exhibition, since its opening, was visited by more than one 1, 800 people.
He said that the end date of the exhibition was extended to 24 August due to the demand from the public and, above all, from the various schools and universities that have visited the event.
In addition to the exhibit, other activities such as movies, book fairs, writing workshops, among others are also taking place.
