Comedian Kotingo undergoes medical screening in Portugal

Luanda - Angolan comedian Edgar Tchipoia "Kotingo" has been in Portugal since Monday to undergo medical examination and treatment, Angop's source has said.

Kotingo suffered both upper limbs and a lower limb fracture in a car accident on July 30 this year.

The artist was on his way back from the northern Malanje province to Luanda, after a performance.

The trip was jointly funded by the Ministry of Culture, Angolan Embassy in Portugal, among others.

Edgar Tchipoia was born in Lixeira neigbourhood, coastal Benguela province.
