Kassav back to Angolan stages

Luanda - Jacob Desvarieux, the veteran and always active musician leading the band Antilhana Kassav is back to the Angolan stages, as a result of their participation, Sunday September 16, at the Festival Zouk Angola, in Baia de Luanda.

The band, Zouk's biggest world reference, returned to Angola a year after their last performance at Tigra Beats with Garra festival held in the city of Lobito, Benguela.

Reserved for the last day of the festival, the band will have approximately two hours of performance that will be filled with a  song such as "Se pa dye dye", "Wep", "Oule", "Rété", "Solei" Siwo "," Caie maman "," Oh madiana ".Kassav is a zouk band from Martinique and Guadeloupe formed in 1979.

The original members were Jocelyne Béroard, Jacob Desvarieux, Jean-Philippe Marthély, Patrick St. Éloi, Jean-Claude Naïmro and Georges Décimus.

The group has released over 30 albums.
