Ten groups "fight" to reach category A of Luanda Carnival

Luanda - Ten groups are ready to contest carnival march 2019, starting at 5 pm this Sunday, in Luanda’s new Marginal Boulevard to "fight" for the top five places that give access to class A in 2020.

The public is counting on the involvement of some historical groups of Luanda Carnival, including the Independent Union of Kilamba Kiaxi Municipality, with three class A titles (1994, 1995 and 1996).

For the conquest of the monetary awards and the right to ascend of division will be still the União Amazonas do Prenda, of the urban district of Maianga, with a title conquered in 1992, and Union Kazukuta of Sambizanga, that won the trophy in 2001.

At the New Marginal Boulevard, the groups Unidos do  Zango, União Café de Angola, União Domant, União Kwanza, Unidos do Kilamba Kiaxi, União 17 de Setembro and União 28 de Agosto will also parade.
