In the area of the arrivals of the 4 de Fevereiro International Airport, there are five "Leds" screens that every two minutes transmit, for 30 seconds, aspects related to the historical site, especially the ruins of the Kulumbimbi, being the main tourist point of heritage.

According to Carolina Cerqueira, this act is part of the marketing and information program aimed at the international and national public opinion on Mbanza Kongo and will be extended in other means of dissemination, namely on billboards, televisions, radios, public transport, among others.

He explained that the airport is one of the main entrance doors of the country, hence the need to show visitors and not only the pictures that depict a little of the reality and history of Mbanza Kongo, as well as FestiKongo, an important event to be held in the month of July.

The FestiKongo, according to the official, will be the show of all the richness and cultural diversity of the Kongo people that naturally includes the bordering countries that were part of the former Kingdom of Kongo, such as the Republics of Congo, Democratic Republic of Congo and Gabon.

During four days there will be lectures, workshops, fairs, festivals, cultural tours and exchanges that are scheduled within the UNESCO recommendation approved when raising the city of Mbanza Kongo as a World Heritage Site.
