Angola, DRC discuss FestiKongo 2019

Luanda - Angola and Democratic Republic of the Congo (DRC) Tuesday in Luanda analysed issues related to the 1st Edition of the Kongo International Festival (FestiKongo 2019), scheduled for 5- 8 July in the capital of the northern Zaire province, Mbanza Kongo.

The State Secretary for Culture, Maria da Piedade de Jesus, met with the first advisor to the DRC Embassy in Angola, Ngalusay Mfidi Thomas, to analyse the matter.

Maria da Piedade de Jesus informed the DRC official on the steps taken to hold the event.

Cultural representatives from Angola, Gabon, DRC and Republic of the Congo are expected to show up.
 

The event will be marked by various activities, with stress to book, craft and gastronomy fairs, as well as cultural workshops, exhibitions, shows, seminars and fashion shows.
