In addition to the cultural aspect, the event also has on the agenda the Youth, Women, Partners and Ideas forums. These are platforms for reflection on Africa's future, with focused approaches on education, science, culture serving Africa's culture of peace, conflict prevention and the role of the media in promoting peace.

With the tripartite event (Angola, African Union and UNESCO), the country also wants to promote harmony and brotherhood among peoples through cultural and civic activities and manifestations, with the integration of African elites, exemplifying the coming of former footballer Dedier Drogba, who excelled at England's Chelsea FC, and the 2018 Nobel Peace Prize winner Denis Mukucene.

Speaking about the event, during a media briefing, Secretary of State for Culture, Aguinaldo Cristóvão stated that the logistic and human conditions were created for more than 1000 people.

He stressed that the event aims, among other things, to create an African movement that can spread the importance of a culture of peace, taking into account the development and affirmation of African countries in various fields, particularly in the defense of human and minority rights, as well as the fight against corruption.

The realization of this activity in Angola proves the political will of the government to establish ever closer cooperation with Unesco, with a view to promoting a true culture of peace in Africa, and represents the recognition of Angola's example in strengthening peace and  national reconciliation.

The Alliance of Partners for a Culture of Peace in Africa is part of the implementation of the 2030 Agenda by achieving its 17 Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs).

Representatives from 16 African countries and diaspora communities are expected namely  from Egypt, Morocco, Ethiopia, Kenya, Rwanda, Mali, Nigeria, Cape Verde, Republic of Congo, Democratic Republic of Congo, Namibia, South Africa, Brazil, Italy and among others.
