Mbanza Kongo trains tour guides
Mbanza Kongo - Thirty-four tour guides are being trained today in Mbanza Kongo, Zaire Province, with the mission of assisting tourists.

The training is in charge of the Ministry of Tourism and is being guided by the technician of the Association of Tourism Guides and Artistic Servers of Angola (AGTSA), Carlos Bumba.
Opening this five-day training event, the trainer explained that, in this first phase, it has a theoretical and practical aspects, addressing themes related to tourist animation, history and general geography.
Participants will also receive notions regarding public or human relations, tools and techniques of the tourism guide, as well as the evolution of tourism, in a two-stage action, lasting two years.
This is the first training course for tourist guides to be held in Zaire and, in particular, in Mbanza Kongo, which arises from the need to fill the gap in this area as it grows with each passing day, the number of tourists visiting the provincial capital of Zaire.
