Work on Leonardo da Vinci displayed

Lubango - An exhibition entitled “Leonardo, génio gentil", dedicated to the Italian painter Leonardo da Vinci has been on display since last Friday at a Media library of Lubango city, southern Huila province.

The event which marks the 500th anniversary of the death of the artist and inventor (1452 – 1519), is part of the friendship ties between Angola and Italy.

The event going until 08 of November this year is jointly sponsored by

the Italian Embassy in Angola and the Huila's Regional Museum.   

Addressing an opening ceremony of the exhibition, the Italian ambassador to Angola, Cláudio Miscia, said the presentation was translated by the Italian Embassy into Portuguese language.
