An initial amount of 10 million Kwanzas, to be managed by three ambassadors, in the next two years, with the supervision of SADIA, has been made available for the supportive project.
"In this phase of the covid 19 pandemic, many authors and artists who depend on shows and other cultural events for their livelihood have seen their activities halted, and as a result they face great financial difficulties", says a note from the association.
The document explains that the "Art Card" is a project that consists in the attribution of a supermarket card, with a balance of 25.000 Kwanzas or 50.000 for the beneficiaries to buy food.
"During the next 3 months, the cards will be automatically loaded. In case the COVID-19 pandemic continues and the artists and authors remain inactive and in financial difficulties, SADIA will define new phases", SADIA says.
