Luanda, 08/25 - Angolan president José Eduardo dos Santos on friday granted audiences to the outgoing ambassadors ofJapan and of Gabon for farewell.

Japan`s Hiromo Nitta thanked the angolan head of state for thesupport extended to him for the two years of his mission.

He said that while in office he did everything to strengthenthe relations between the two countries, and that he hoped suchrelations will continue to develop.

Hiromo Nitta wished too that political and economic stability be reached in angola as soon as possible.

In his turn, the ambassador of Gabon, Paul Bie-Eyene, who serveda four-year mission in Angola, said that his discussion with the angolan head of state concentrated on the bilateral relations between both nations.

In his view, cooperation and friendship ties between the two states are quite good.
