Luanda, 12/19 - The Land Act which establishes the general framework of its legalregime, and the rights falling upon them and the general system of concession and constitution of agrarian rights has just been made public on the State Gazette.
With 86 articles, the bill establishes the general rules of the legal regime of land inserted in the original State property, the agrarian rights falling upon them and the general regime of transmission, constitution, exercise and extinction of these rights. #
The Act applies to urban and rural land on which the State has some agrarian rights, to the benefit of singular and collective people both public and private, designately aiming the agricultural, livestocking or sylviculture exploration.
The same applies to mineral, industrial, commercial, housing, urban or rural building exploration, territory distribution, environmental protection and combat against the erosion of soils.
Under this new law, "the land is a originary State property" and, therefore, all businessesof transmission or onerousness of property of land integrated in these domains are considerednull and void.
