Luanda, 18/05 - The outgoing Italian Ambassador to Angola, Alfredo Bastianelli, met Wednesday here with the Speaker of the Angolan Parliament,Roberto de Almeida, to whom he expressed his gratitute for the personal andconstitutional aid during his four-year mission.
After the meeting, Bastianelli highligthed the fact that he worked in anexcellent environment of official and personal relations with the Angolanauthorities.
"This climate shows the merit of the existing relationship between the twocounties that date back from 400 years, and thus at the moment of leaving the nation, where I make many friendship, I feel the need to express my feelingof gratitude", he explained.
The Ambassador reminded Roberto de Almeida personal aid for the release ofa book issued by the Italian embassy on the relations between the two states,at the premises of the National Assembly.
The diplomat was received in audience Tuesday by the Angolan Premier, towhom he presented farewell greetings.
