Angolan Head of State sends condolence for Guinean counterpart's death

Luanda - The Angolan Head of State, José Eduardo dos Santos, on Monday addressed a message of condolence to Guinea Bissau’s acting President, Raimundo Pereira, for the death of his counterpart Malan Bacai Sanha.
In the letter, President José Eduardo dos Santos manifests on his behalf, on behalf of the Angolan people and Government, his deep consternation for the death of Malan Bacai Sanha.
José Eduardo dos Santos considers the death of Malan Bacai Sanha a loss for that West African country "In a moment Guinea Bissau is still recovering from recent wounds and is making efforts to normalise its internal situation".
He exhorted the people of Guinea Bissau to work towards the democratic institutions in order to guarantee the unity of the nation and the political stability necessary to the social and economic development and consolidation of peace and democracy.
