Luanda – The participants in Pan-African Forum: Basis and Resources for a culture of peace recommended on Thursday in Luanda the valorisation of the African culture in the Framework of dialogue and reconciliation.

mechanisms of community interactive and reconciliation dialogue, involving the civil society and medias.

It was also recommended reinforcement of relations between education and culture to build paths for education and effective training, aiming to promote the peaceful coexistence in Africa, through the conducting of studies on mechanisms of conflict resolutions in
traditional societies of different regions in the continent.

The participants recommend the review of the general teaching and university curricula, topping the culture, languages and history of Africa in the education systems.

According to them, the implantation of proposals for a culture of peace lies on the consideration of national educational policies.
