President's figure highlighted in London

Luanda - The figure of the Angolan President, José Eduardo dos Santos, was highlighted on Wednesday in London during the opening of the first annual world conference of the support for national entrepreneurship that is taking place in London, UK.

According to a press note from the Angolan embassy in London that reached Angop on Wednesday, the name of President José Eduardo dos Santos was hailed for his commitment to the oil sector, especially in the integration of the national entrepreneurship of the field and training of the manpower, aimed to replace gradually the expatriate staff.

The head of the Angolan government was also highlighted due to the incentive he has been giving to national young people regarding their training in technical areas, mainly in the oil engineering.

Angola is attending this annual world conference with a delegation, led by the Secretary of State for Inspection and documentation of the Ministry of Oil, José Gualter dos Remédios Inocêncio, also integrated by diplomats of the Angolan embassy in the UK.

The two-day conference is debating, among other issues, “the implementation of local norms and contents”, “role of the government and its responsibility in business context” and “creation of job, values and institutional capacity of each state member”.
