Angola to have over 260,000 university students this year
Luanda - Over 260,000 students are enrolled in public higher education institutions for the 2015 academic year, revealed last Monday, in Luanda, the Angolan Vice President, Manuel Domingos Vicente.

The Vice President was speaking at the opening ceremony of the 2015 academic year, which will take place under the motto “Let us diversify the economy, through a quality higher education, with values and patriotism”.
The minister informed that it is also guaranteed the offer of eight thousand internal scholarships and 1,200 external ones.
Manuel Vicente further announced that this year a few new courses will be introduced in certain public universities, such as Medicine in the provinces of Uige (north) and Cuando Cubango (south-east), Forestry Engineering in Cabinda (north) and Agrarian Engineer in Cuando Cubango.
