Commission assesses creation of social sciences academy

Luanda - The proposals to create a Social Sciences Academy and a Higher Polytechnic Institute of the Tocoist church are under analysis this Wednesday, in Luanda, at a meeting of the Social Policy Commission of the Cabinet Council.

In its first session, chaired by the Angolan Vice President, Manuel Domingos Vicente, the participants will also hear a report on the start of the 2016 Academic Year and analyse a memorandum on the current situation relating to the inclusion of the Angolan indigenous languages in primary education.

The meeting is also analyzing the national programme on the development of rural women, the memos on the registration of Angolan inventors and creators, as well as the information on the holding in Angola of UNESCO’s Scientific Council Meeting.
