MPLA wants greater participation in economic diversification

Menongue - The effective participation of the ruling MPLA?s supporters in actions aimed at diversifying the economy was defended last Monday, in Menongue, south-eastern Cuando Cubango Province by the party?s secretary for cadres, former combatants and Veterans of the homeland, António Paulo Kassoma.

Speaking at the closing of the fourth extraordinary provincial conference of the MPLA in Cuando Cubango, which elected Pedro Mutinde to first provincial party secretary, António Paulo Kassoma recalled that the current economic situation is not favourable under the oil price fall in the international market.

On the other hand, he  stressed that the producers of goods and services and prospective producers  of goods and services, as well as researchers and innovators, ought to devote all experience and knowledge in the construction and consolidation of the new business cycle of stability without dependence on oil.
