Angola and Venezuela intend to boost south/south cooperation
Luanda - Angola and Venezuela consider strategically important the south/south cooperation in order to boost regional and bilateral relations, said today on Friday in Luanda, the head of the America department of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Francisco da Cruz.

Speaking to Angop at Luanda’s “4 de Fevereiro” International Airport about the two-day visit of the Venezuelan Viceminister of Foreign Affairs for Africa, Reinaldo Bolivar, the Angolan diplomat said the two countries have "very good relations "both bilaterally and in international organizations.
"Both states belong to two international organizations that require ongoing concerts and consultations, as they are members of the Organization of the Petroleum Exporting Countries (OPEC) non-permanent members of the UN Security Council which requires the two countries to harmonize positions and define strategies", defended the diplomat.
According to the director, both Angola and Venezuela consider strategically important the south/south cooperation, with a greater exchange of regional organizations to which they are member states and thus boost trade.
According to his programme, the Venezuelan official will meet in private this morning with the Minister of Foreign Affairs, Georges Chikoti, and the governor of Luanda, Higino Carneiro.
