Angola: President sacks higher education minister
Luanda - Angolan head of State José Eduardo dos Santos Monday fired the Minister of Higher Education, Adão Gaspar Ferreira do Nascimento, and appointed the State Secretary for the sector, Antonio Miguel André, who is accumulating the positions.

In other decrees, José Eduardo dos Santos appointed Francisco José Aleixo Fernandes to the post of Secretary of State for Foreign Trade, while Carlos Alberto Jaime Pinto went to the State Secretary of Agriculture for agricultural business sector.
