Angola: PRS to hold Congress on May 29

Luanda - The Social Renewal Party (PRS), founded on November 18, 1990, will hold its fourth Ordinary Congress from 29 to 31 May in Luanda, an event convened by the president of the party, Eduardo Kuangana.

The meeting of the opposition party with three parliamentary seat will take place almost three months before the 2017 general election, after successive postponements.

At this Congress, the PRS will review and approve the five-year report, as well as assess and approve the party's Electoral Strategy for its 2017- 2022 governance programme.

Data from the political party estimate that it has at least four million members.
