National Air Force's preparation, patriotic education year open
Luanda - Angolan National Air Force Wednesday in Luanda opened combative preparation and patriotic education year 2017/2018 during a ceremony chaired by the 2nd commander of the Angolan Armed Forces (FAA), Lt. General Cristóvão Miguel da Silva Júnior.

The opening ceremony also coincides with celebration of 37th anniversary of Luanda Air Force Base, on March 1.
Stimulus delivery to the outstanding military personnel, also marks the opening ceremony.
Cristóvão da Silva Júnior considered the event a tradition of the branch.
He said the ceremony helps each member reflect deeply on what had been done in the past and focus on future challenges.
The changes underway in all sectors of the world today, including in armed forces, demand from each soldier the need to build solid foundation, said the high ranking officer of FAA.
The general official explained that the soldier needs permanent instruction to develop his combative, politics and patriotic ability to identify and interpret the economic and social phenomena.
