Ruling party candidate arrives in Cabinda
Cabinda - The ruling MPLA party presidential candidate, João Lourenço, arrived Friday in the northern Cabinda province where he will be presented Saturday to militants, sympathisers and friends of the organisation.

At “Maria Mambo Café” Airport, João Lourenço was welcomed by the first secretary of MPLA Provincial Committee of Cabinda, Aldina da Lomba Catembo, and the local members of the party leadership.
The trip of the party’s vice president and presidential candidate is part of the process of preparation for the coming election of August this year.
During his stay in the province, João Lourenço will visit some infrastructures under construction and others concluded and meet with representatives of civil society organisations, churches, youth and traditional authorities.
The programme also include meetings with members of the Central Committee of secretariats of the ruling party's women and youth wings, respectively OMA and JMPLA.
João Lourenço was appointed in February this year the party presidential candidate for next elections by the Central Committee of the ruling MPLA party.
